Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to): Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):
Taking medical history Editing medical history as it is verified by the physician
Explaining treatment procedures to patients Explaining treatment procedures to patients and reviewing instructions as given by the physician
Preparing patients for examination Preparing patients for examination such as providing gowns, assisting physician in removal of shoes/socks for exam, as directed by physician

Assisting the physician during exams and procedures Assisting the physician during exams and procedures by getting instruments, gauze, supplies for the procedure as directed by physician

Collecting and preparing laboratory specimen Collecting and preparing laboratory specimen such as urine specimen as directed by physician
Performing basic diagnostic tests such as Vision test Snellen eye chart, ear poppers, pulmonary function tests, EKGs Performing basic diagnostic tests such as Vision test Snellen eye chart,ear poppers, EKGs as directed by physician
Authorizing prescription changes as directed by physician Authorizing prescription changes as directed by physician
Enter pended Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE). Includes medication, diagnostic, & laboratory orders for clinicians, as direct by a Physician

Medication Reconciliation
